Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage You will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
