Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Clarke County, Mississippi. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
