Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Big Horn County, Wyoming. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience.
