Gas pipe fitter • Parke County, Indiana

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Parke County, Indiana. You will work at a busy gas installation company. The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
