You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Part-time with flexible hours.
