Foundry operative wanted in Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Fayette County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
