Vacancy available: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on the workshop ramps. Requirements: • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps Day-to-day duties: • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
