Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Gloucester County, Virginia. The job is in a spray booth. You will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. You should have: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Rotating shifts. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
