MIG welder wanted in McCreary County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in McCreary County, Kentucky. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
