Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Sampson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • 2+ years' experience as a baker You will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
