Scaffolding charge hand • Tift County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Tift County, Georgia. You will be based at a commercial fit-out project. On a typical shift you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Full-time, day shift. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
