Urgent requirement: lift mechanic (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Daviess County, Kentucky. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
