Fabricator-welder wanted in Pamlico County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Pamlico County, North Carolina. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
