Civil works labourer wanted in Nottoway County

Join our team: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Nottoway County, Virginia. Day to day you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
