Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day-to-day duties: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
