Lift installation engineer • Iroquois County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Iroquois County, Illinois. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
