Food packing operative • Bristol County, Rhode Island

Now hiring: we are hiring a food packing operative in Bristol County, Rhode Island. The job is in a cold-storage packing unit. Your main tasks: • Shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets • Strap and band pallets ready for loading • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box Ideal candidate: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
