Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Bent County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
