Slinger signaller — Effingham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Effingham County, Georgia. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
