Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Orkney Islands, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
