Reinforcement fitter • Butler County, Kentucky

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Butler County, Kentucky. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Six days a week, one day off. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
