Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
