Dogger wanted in New York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in New York County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
