Delivery driver wanted in Des Moines County

Now hiring: we are hiring a delivery driver in Des Moines County, Iowa. The job is with a transport contractor. Day to day you will keep the cabin and load area clean and tidy; arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents; keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet; park and reverse safely in tight loading bays and narrow lanes; drive within speed limits and follow all road safety rules; deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of city roads, routes and shortcuts • Polite and presentable for customer-facing deliveries • Familiarity with basic vehicle checks and maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
