Brickwork mason • King George County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in King George County, Virginia. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
