Immediate opening: wood machinist (Rivers State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
