Punch press operator wanted in Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Clay County, Iowa. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
