Urgent requirement: semi-automatic welder (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Saint Louis County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
