Stainless steel welder wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Washington County, Maryland. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
