Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Iwajowa, Oyo State. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
