Gtaw welder — Portage County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Portage County, Wisconsin. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
