Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Island County, Washington. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing On the job you will handle: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
