You should have: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid Your main tasks: • Man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
