Shuttering carpenter — Leelanau County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Leelanau County, Michigan. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
