Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
