Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Morgan County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
