Site safety steward wanted in Taylor County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Taylor County, Kentucky. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
