Sewing machine operator wanted in Mason County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Mason County, Illinois. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 5+ years on the tools preferred.
