Trowel-trade bricklayer • Audubon County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Audubon County, Iowa. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
