Heavy goods vehicle driver — Rutherford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Rutherford County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Your main tasks: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
