Pipe TIG welder wanted in Lowndes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Lowndes County, Alabama. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
