Steel erection rigger — Sanilac County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Sanilac County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
