Concrete pump mate wanted in Anchorage Municipality

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. The job is on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off.
