CO2 welder • Liberty County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Liberty County, Georgia. You will be based at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
