Fabrication workshop technician • Hinds County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Hinds County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
