Vacancy available: we are hiring a bench joiner in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will be based at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
