Gas installation technician — Butler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Butler County, Iowa. The job is in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
