Single needle operator • Vale of Glamorgan, Wales

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 4+ years on the tools preferred.
