Confectioner wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Putnam County, New York. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Full-time with occasional weekends.
