Aluminium TIG welder — Chatham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Chatham County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
